Our fall parent/teacher conferences are designed to provide parents with a better understanding of their child’s progress, including goals and areas of focus for the remainder of the school year. This is a valuable opportunity for parents and teachers to work collaboratively to best support students’ overall needs. Fall conferences will be held:
Tuesday, November 11th: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 12th: 1:30 - 3:15 p.m.
Thursday, November 13th: 1:30 - 3:15 p.m.
All conferences with grade-level teachers will be scheduled through our Genesis Parent Portal. Click here for directions on how to secure a time slot for your child(ren). We are only able to use Genesis to schedule conferences with grade-level teachers. If you would like to schedule a conference with a teacher other than your child’s grade-level teacher (e.g., special area teacher, basic skills teacher, etc.), please email that teacher to set up a time that works for both of you. Teachers' email addresses are first initial last name @rivervaleschools.com (i.e. ckirkby@rivervaleschools.com).
The Parent Portal will open for conference scheduling on Wednesday, October 29th at 9:00 a.m. Sign-ups through Genesis will be available until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9th. Please do not use a smartphone to sign up for conferences, as parents sometimes experience technical difficulties when using this option.
